Project Description
The Fatigue Management Leadership course is designed for managers and supervisors. This course builds on the prerequisite course, Fatigue Impairment Awareness, to deepen your understanding of fatigue management and to begin to identify and implement intervention strategies in the workplace. This second course in the Fatigue series explains the concept of fatigue impairment and it’s impact on the workplace, while providing helpful, application-based best practices you can use to mitigate the fatigue risks your workforce faces.
*Prerequisite: Fatigue Impairment Awareness
Course topics include:
- Building a business case for fatigue
- Safely managing fatigue
- The Fatigue Risk Assessment Trajectory
- Scheduling, overtime, and work demands
- Identifying fatigue
- Fatigue-related errors
- Fatigue risk assessment tools
- Fatigue education and training
- Fatigue intervention strategies
To successfully complete the course, learners have 3 attempts to achieve 80% or higher on the exam. Upon completion the learner receives a Certificate of Achievement that is valid for 3 years from the date of completion.
